Our foundations offer
long-lasting, lightweight coverage, and are formulated
with high quality, crushed, cosmetic grade
minerals:
- silk mica for a soft, smooth texture;
- light-scattering silica spheres for a soft-focus
finish
- titanium dioxide, used in physical sunblocks;
- soothing zinc oxide, found in many creams for skin
irritations, and
- iron oxides, for a broad range of shades to
harmonize with diverse skin tones.
Our foundations are free of nano sized particles; talc; irritating
formaldehyde-releasing preservatives; parabens; bismuth oxychloride
and dyes.
To apply foundation, tap a little
into the sifter pot lid, pick it up with a flattop or kabuki brush
like the soft, vegan ones we carry, tap the brush
handle on a hard surface
to settle the minerals into the bristles, then use gentle,
down and outward brush
strokes. As with all loose powders, avoid whisking minerals into the air and inhaling them.
A flocked cosmetic sponge also works well (we carry latex-free sponges). For added
coverage of sun spots or blemishes, mist the
sponge with our Botanical Facial
Mist or water.

of your shade. You

on finding your shades helpful. The deeper
shades work well as bronzers, for example, if
Kalliope is your foundation, try Harmonia or Elara
as your bronzer.
